A cheque for $100,000 was added to the fund, to be used to support Canadian equestrian athletes and equine industry development.
The bursary provides up to $10,000 toward the cost of international competition, sport science, training, equipment and sport education.
The young dressage rider, who currently tops the U25 World Rankings, was selected in part because of her potential for the 2024 Olympics.
