The Danish dressage star and her extraordinary mare scored an impressive 88.965% to take the class in Herning.

Danish rider Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour retired the 19-year-old dressage star after 12 successful years together.

They were chased all the way to the finish by Great Britain who were just over one percentage point behind in silver medal position.

The FEI Dressage World Championship gets underway August 6th and the Danish team are riding on a wave of success over the past year.
