The FEI Dressage World Cup Final 2022 got underway on Thursday evening and the result was not at all surprising.

The home crowd had plenty to cheer about when Denmark’s Dufour and the beloved 18-year-old Atterupgaards Cassidy danced to victory.
The German captured her third gold medal of the week on home soil riding Dalera, over Cathrine Dufour (DEN) and Charlotte Dujardin (GBR).
Germany’s Isabell Werth took silver and Denmark’s Cathrine Dufour snagged bronze; the leading 15 go through to Saturday’s Freestyle.
It's another dream double for Dufour at the first leg in Denmark while Germany’s Werth and von Bredow-Werndl finish second and third.
Once again Denmark’s Cathrine Dufour and her mighty little chestnut gelding Atterupgaards Cassidy stole Swedish hearts in Gothenburg.
