A terrible thing happened the other day. We lost a great athlete. My sincere condolences go out to Eric Lamaze.I saw this video of Eric and Hickstead sharing their story and I thought it was very touching so I am going to share it with all of you.

On another note, everything is going well for Vitall and I. Anky was away in New York for the week, so we took it easy out in the woods for nice walks and working on basics, forward and back checking in that the breaks work. Now, this week we are picking it back up and working on exercises again. The troubles are still with the left pirouette – he loses his balance a bit, but as we work on them every day it’s getting better and better. Everything is going well the Pi and Pa transitions are becoming seamless. It was nice while Anky was away. I just worked on going in and out getting the feeling for myself where I don’t even have to think about it, that it just becomes second nature for both of us. Both Vitall and I have to have confidence in each other. This coming Friday, I have another practice show. I’m riding the Inter 2 again then hopefully the next one in December we will ride through the GP :)!!!
We have been having beautiful fall weather. I love this time of year. All the leaves changing colours and thankfully we have had more sunshine then rain and beautiful crisp mornings when I’m out walking Oslo. Also this weekend, a fellow teammate from when I did Young Riders, (she was a Junior) Lindsey Seidel is coming to visit. She is travelling around Europe and is coming to stay with me for the weekend so I will show her around AEC and bit of Holland. I will be sure to take pictures of our adventures. Also, this week is the Royal Winter Fair. Good luck to everyone competing and have fun for everyone who is going to enjoy the show it is one of my favourite shows to go and watch!
So new updates coming soon!!
