As the FEI announces the cancellation of the contract binding them to the WEG 2018 organizing committee, COJEM 2018, the Bromont Olympic Park will continue with all its regular activities, events and development projects.

An extraordinary venue
Founded for hosting the equestrian events of the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park has since been host to international events in many disciplines, including the Bromont International Driving CAI1*/CAI2*, the three-day event competition Bromont CCI3*, the International Bromont and, for the first time since 2011, the Park will host an international Dressage show this fall. In addition, the site is renowned for its exceptional landscape and views.

As indicated Marcel Bundock, President of the Société d’agriculture du comté de Shefford,” the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park will continue its activities and will still host international events, as it has always done.”

Major investments
Over the last few weeks, the Olympic Equestrian Park has invested close to half a million dollars for the footing of the rings. The long-term projects for the Park, including the construction of the administration building and pavilion, are not jeopardized. “This project is still on the agenda: for the Agricultural Society and the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park, the indoor arena and the administration building represent the logical evolution as these facilities will undoubtedly improve the quality of the venue.”

Major events
Each year, the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park presents over ten equestrian competitions, including six international events in various disciplines. In fact, from July 20th to 31st, the site is host to the International Bromont, the only international show jumping competition in Quebec.
