During the second day of competition at the Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships (CIEC), a sanctioned Equine Canada competition happening September 21-23, held in Bromont and Blainville, QC, junior and senior riders continued to compete in the disciplines dressage, jumping and reining.
During day two of dressage competition in Bromont, QC, in the Level 1 Test 3 and Abbey MacLellan of Pownal, PEI, riding Encore, won the class with a score of 71.129%. Riding Slip N Slide, second place was awarded to Lexie LeBlanc of Shediac, NB, with a score of 70.484%. Third place went to Haley Greenbank of Fredericton, NB, riding Denali (66.290%).

Day two of competition for jumping was a 1.10m speed round and Helen Chambers of Oakville, ON won riding Utopia Belles in a fault free time of 55.85 seconds. Second place went to Isabelle Casgrain of Montroyal, QC and Ushi, who was also clear in a time of 56.90. Riding Cherry Ladies in a clean time of 57.27, Heather Brodsky of Saskatoon, SK, was awarded third place.

The reining portion of the competition is being held in Blainville, QC, and two classed were held on the first day. In class number two, the evening competition, held on September 21, Raphaël Bourdeau of Napierville, QC riding Holy Tag Star won with a score of 144. Second place was awarded to Marjorie Loranger of Saint Paul, QC and Bar Olena Chick with 138. Rounding the top three was Kaleigh Bennicke of Shelburne, NS and Genetic Jewel with 130.

The Senior Reining evening reining class was also held on September 21 was won by Stéphanie Briggs of St Télesphore, QC, with an excellent score of146.50 riding Dunit N Starlight. Second place was awarded to Lesley Higgins-Elchuck of Trenton, NS, riding Sumac Up Top with a score of 136.00, while third place went to Laurianne Gagnon-Duval of Brossard, QC, riding Sumac Strikes Gold with 134.50.
