Jump Canada has announced the show jumping athletes that will represent Canada at the 2011 Adequan FEI North American Junior and Young Riders’ Championship. Presented by Gotham North, these Championships will be held July 27–31 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. Team and individual honours will be awarded in two divisions for show jumping, Junior (open to riders aged 14 to 18) and Young Riders’ (for riders aged 16-21).

The chef d’équipes include Hyde Moffat for the Ontario Junior and Young Riders’ teams, Jim Ifko for the Alberta Junior Team, Jay Duke Alberta Young Riders’ Team, Nicole Lapierre for the Quebec Young Riders’ Individual and Christine Dejordy for the Quebec Junior Rider individual.
In 2010, the Alberta Junior Show Jumping Team won the gold medal in the Junior division while Ben Asselin of Calgary, AB, won the individual gold medal in the Young Riders’ division aboard Lolita.
