MIMclip technology will be used at all levels of international eventing competition (CCI1*-CCI5*) as new FEI rules governing cross-country fences came into force on January 1st, 2021. To date, the Swedish-made frangible devices were the only ones to pass the new FEI testing standards.

All new cross-country jumps made after January 1 which can be built as frangible fences must incorporate frangible technology; six types of MIMclip have passed the FEI Eventing Risk Management Groupโ€™s tests.

They include a new, yellow-coloured MIMclip which releases when triggered with a lower amount of force than the traditional red MIMclips, and which is to be used on fences jumped at an angle, such as corners, and is also for table fences.
