The Carolina Horse Park is quite beautiful. This is our first time running here, but I hope we will be back. The entries reflect what a popular event it has become, close to 80 entries in the three star. Only a very few years ago that would have been unthinkable in a North American three star.
Selena does not ride either of her horses until tomorrow. Zephyr and Woody spent the day getting settled in, a little hack and a short flat school.
Woody has made himself at home. He has had a massage and a workout and take a look at that bottom lip, he IS relaxed.
As you know Woody had a last SJ school with Clayton on Monday as his jump prep for the Carolina International. This is a short clip from their early morning session. In some of the clips you can see the sun rising in the background.
We are still awaiting our ‘Storm’ here at home. No sign of it yet. I am having a seriously hard time believing it’s going to happen. It has been a bit chilly today but nothing dreadful. The horses rode both outside and indoors to get the best of both. From left to right this is Alex and Didi, Tori and Bentley (who are doing Plantation in April) and Katiana and Gunnar.
