Busy day today. Did our 8:00 a.m. jog then a quick team meeting to arrange the day.

I did flatwork with Clayton then took Woody out to gallop. There’s a fantastic three-minute uphill gallop at Maizey Manor. We did three trips up it with Clayton on the four wheeler. He had his GPS running on his phone so we could track Woody’s speed/time etc. First run was 575 metres/min (three minutes to the top).

Each time I went up I increased the speed a notch. I forgot my phone so I will hack up there tomorrow and get you guys a picture of the spectacular view.

Hawley galloped Ginny there too. She looked magnificent!

Dr. Ober came out to watch their last gallops up the hill on the back of the four wheeler. Unfortunately it ran out of gas at the top of the hill on Ginny’s last trip. Max to the rescue with some fuel;)

Jess and Peter took their horses to another gallop nearby in the horse lorry with Clayton driving. It is a steeper gallop apparently.

It’s been so cold here that Hawley, Sarah and I went to the outlet mall to buy a few sweaters. I bought one for AM also:) So we didn’t get to see the gallop they went to. I might go to that gallop next time with Woody. Really can’t beat the facilities here though so…
