It’s not often that I blog again this quickly, but O’Hanlon Eventing has a very exciting announcement, and where better to announce but here!
As of yesterday, ‘Bellany Rock’, Jean Rablat’s lovely Irish Advanced eventer has been given to Selena to ride. Jean made the arrangements with the help of Arthur Tateishi from Eventing Canada and Selena will co-own ‘Rocky’ with Eventing Canada.
Rocky is a beautiful boy. He is 16.3hh of gorgeous Irish horseflesh. He is sweet and giving in every way and tries his best (which is impressive) at all three phases. Selena had the opportunity to ride him twice this past summer. She did an Open Prelim here in Canada and the Open Intermediate at Stuart in New York. Rocky won them both giving Selena a super fun ride on the flat and over fences.
The plan is to take him to Ocala and do the CIC*** at Redhills and The Fork followed by a three star CCI at either New Jersey or Bromont. It is very exciting to think that we will have THREE advanced horses running in 2013. Solo, Woody and now Rocky.
We cannot thank Mr. Jean Rablat enough for his generosity in donating such a talented and lovely horse for Selena to ride. We hope Rocky will ‘do us all proud’ and gallop on up to the four star level. We would also like to thank Arthur Tateishi and Eventing Canada for helping to make it all possible.
