Selena took a day at the beach today. It’s nice to try and get there once a year, but it doesn’t always happen. Despite the proximity, horses are horses and they take up a lot of time. Angie’s visit was the catalyst and Selena was hoping to get in some scuba diving. Unfortunately, it was decidedly chilly in the water and she decided that scuba diving could happen another time.
Angie and Anne Marie divided up the horses and had a lovely day hacking and schooling the gang. First off they took out the two OTTBs. Benny and Rummy are a popular ride with everyone. There are no shortage of volunteers to help hack them. Angie rode Benny. I can’t wait until I can ride them. Megan Woods was back from her European trip and hacked Derg Boru. Woody is still on hacking after his run at RHHT and Riley went along to keep him company. It was either a hack day or a lunging day for everyone.
Woody was entered for Rolex and the Combined Training at Fairhill. It’s always exciting to enter a four star. There are only so many that you get to ride in if you live in North America and entering Rolex has a certain thrill to it. His name should show up on the entry list soon.
