The Canadian and the 10-year-old KWPN gelding bested a massive field of 83 starters at Tryon Fall 5 in Mill Spring, NC.

The feature event at Tryon Fall 5 tested 33 over Michel Vaillancourt’s course; top Canadian was Ali Ramsey, 7th with Bonita VH Keizershof Z.

Riding Darius, the Canadian was edged for first place by Samuel Parot (CHI) and Captain Z with the only other double-clear effort.

The New Zealand rider took the victory aboard a fairly new ride; Canadian Erynn Ballard placed 7th with Narcotique V/H Dingenshof.

The Irish rider and Vital Chance de la Roque collected their second consecutive FEI win of the week, also taking the $37,000 Welcome Stake.

The American also takes the 2* aboard Fenix Rouge Du Claux; top Canadian in the 4* is Colleen Loach and Vermont, 6th.

Woods Baughman named USEF Eventing CCI 4*-L national champion; Canada's Kendal Lehari and Audacious third in CCI 3*-L.

The cross-country shook up the leaderboards in most divisions, with Woods Baughman and C’est La Vie taking over the CCI 4*-L lead.

In the CCI 2*-L, Canada's Tik Maynard and Galileo post the best dressage score of all 180 competitors in all divisions heading into XC day.

Harold Chopping places first and third in the $25,000 Cleghorn Golf & Sports Club Grand Prix with Glenn Hartigan snagging second place.
