Wellington Eventing Showcase Cancelled for 2018

The popular Wellington Eventing Showcase, held each year since 2015 during the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, FL, will not run in 2018.

The organizers, Equestrian Sport Productions (ESP), cited scheduling conflicts and location changes for the show jumping classes at WEF which will prevent this unique unrecognized two-day exhibition ‒ which features top eventing talent and in 2017 offered $100,000 in prizes ‒ from taking place. It is expected the Wellington Eventing Showcase will return in 2019.

The most disappointed competitor due to this cancellation will likely be Boyd Martin (USA), who has won this event every year (Trading Aces, Blackfoot Mystery, and Welcome Shadow).
