Former Olympic eventer, Amy Tryon, died in her sleep on April 12th at the age of 42. The cause of death is unknown.
Tryon was a member of the American team that competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, as well as the 2004 Athens Olympics bronze medal-winning team. She took Individual bronze at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Jerez and was a member of the 2002 gold medal-winning team at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen.
Tryon, who competed at Galway Downs at the end of March, on Poggio II, was from Duvall, WA. She is survived by her husband, Greg Tryon.
