Tampa, FL – January 29, 2008 – Stadium Jumping, Inc., one of the nation’s leading horse show production companies, is pleased to announce the official dates of this year’s equestrian competitions in Tampa, FL. Held the last two weeks of March and the first week of April, the horse shows will feature some of the very best hunter and jumpers in the country at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
“We’re excited about the Tampa shows this year,” commented Eugene R. Mische, president of Stadium Jumping, Inc. “With the improvements at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center, a third week there made a lot of sense to us.”
Three weeks of Tampa action kick off on March, 19, 2008 and will continue through April 6. The first competition, the Suncoast International, starts on March 19 and concludes on March 23, with the Tampa Bay Classic following from March 26-30. The final week, the Tournament of Champions, will run from April 1-6.
“We look forward to welcoming competitors back and hosting a great competition. And, as always, I personally look forward to the American Invitational. It’s definitely one of America’s premier outdoor show jumping events,” Mische added.
The highlight of the horse shows in Tampa is the $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational CSI 4*, which will be held under the lights at Raymond James Stadium, on April 5, 2008.
