The names have been chosen for the 2022 edition of Name the Foal, presented by TELUS. Tens of thousands of names from across Canada were submitted from June to August, and we are excited to share them today.
The three foals selected for 2022 were sired by three different sires, Casparo, Ice Man Du Houssoit and Spot Cash. Based on tradition, the foals have been assigned a first letter of their yet to be selected name, based on the first letter of the name of their sire. Each of the three foals is very different and unique in size and personality.
