RIDE TV will now be available to more Canadian viewers thanks to an agreement between the American digital cable and satellite network and TELUS Optik TV.

RIDE TV, available 24 hours a day, in high-definition, is the only television network devoted exclusively to the horse and rural living lifestyle. They produce more than 90 per cent of their content, and offer a wide variety of programming including documentaries, reality shows and event coverage. Popular shows include Rock Star Vets, This Old Horse, Horses That Heal, 1000 to 1, Ridiculous Ranches and Stable Fables.

RIDE TV is the first of its kind network to be distributed in Canada and is now available to all TELUS Optik TV customers in Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. Find it on TELUS Optik TV, channel 970.

“TELUS has been a champion of RIDE TV since the beginning, and sponsored our network for our Canadian license,” said Mike Clark, Executive Vice President of RIDE TV. “This is an excellent opportunity for us to showcase the equestrian lifestyle to a whole new group of potential fans and participants.”
