Para-Equestrian Canada Video Competitions have Returned

Ottawa, ON – Para-Equestrian Canada is delighted to announce the return of the 2010-2011 Video Competition Series.

Both the “Coast-to-Coast” Video Competition Series and the “Sea-to-Sea” Para-Dressage Video Competition Series will resume with the following deadlines:

• Show Series 1 – July 15, 2010,

• Show Series 2 – August 15, 2010,

• Show Series 3 – September 15, 2010,

• Show Series 4 – October 15, 2010,

• Show Series 5 – November 15, 2010,

• Show Series 6 – February 15, 2011, and

• Show Series 7 – March 15, 2011.

These series provide riders with an opportunity to experience competition conditions in the comfort of their home stable and on a familiar horse.  The “Coast-to-Coast” series provides entry level riders with the opportunity to compete in a variety of disciplines, while the “Sea-to-Sea” series offers a more competitive competition environment for Para-Dressage riders.

Various changes have been made to the Coast to Coast program this year.  The series now works just like the Sea-to-Sea series — specifically the entry fees have been reduced to $5 per class, and Therapeutic Riding Centres do not need to host a competition to participate.  Participants are asked to pay special attention to these changes.
