In one of the fastest jump-off’s of the 2021 season, it was the uber-consistent combination of Henrik von Eckermann and Glamour Girl who stole the show in front of a full crowd at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Rome.

Equestrian enthusiasts roared as last-to-go Eckermann took all the risks, galloping flat out to the final fence to stop the clock a whole two seconds faster than his compatriot and current world number 2 Peder Fredricson with H&M Christian K. Irishman Denis Lynch rounded off the top three with the huge striding GC Chopin’s Bushi after another flawless round.

A speechless Henrik explained, “My jump-off might have been a little bit over the top. But when you get her going it’s difficult to get her back, she jumps better forward and I didn’t want to disturb her too much. Today it is extra special because Robin Parsky her owner is here to see it, I am really happy.”
