Jumping: Kent Farrington widens his lead
Kent Farrington (USA) just keeps winning and remains as world number one four months after reaching the top spot, followed by Great Britain’s Ben Maher, Christian Kukuk (GER), and Richard Vogel (GER). Scott Brash (GBR) climbs two spots to fifth place, and will likely vault even higher when the points are tabulated at the end of this month thanks to his magnificent CPKC International win at Spruce Meadows with Hello Jefferson.
Canadian Erynn Ballard is 43rd, Tiffany Foster is 71st, and Mario Deslauriers has re-entered the top 100 in 98th place. Kara Chad is knocking on the door in 106th place following a string of top-10 placings in August.
Longines League of Nations: USA’s dominance continues
For the eighth consecutive month, the USA maintains its position as leader of the Longines League of Nations™ ranking. Ireland remains just behind in second place, but a bit closer than last month. France remains third, while Belgium has surpassed Germany for fourth place.
The last qualifying spot (10th) is still Brazil and its most immediate threat is now 11th-place Canada, which has surpassed Sweden.
Dressage: Justin Verboomen and Zonik Plus new world # ones
Justin Verboomen (BEL) is completing a fantastic season and, after winning two gold medals at the FEI Dressage European Championship 2025 in Crozet (FRA), Verboomen is now at the top of the world ranking for the first time in his career. The nine-year-old black stallion and double European Champion Zonik Plus is the new leader of the Horses’ ranking, Former number one Charlotte Fry (GBR) is now second, followed by Isabell Werth (GER). Becky Moody (GBR) and Denmark’s Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour.
Canada’s riders continue to sit outside the top-100 mark; Camille Carier Bergeron is now 104th. However, Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu is 11th in the 2* ranks where she is competing Harmonium, and 6th in the 1* (Furst Foundation, Medoc and Viva Vivaldi).
Para-Dressage: No changes at the top
Team USA are leading the way in the senior Para Dressage Rankings: Fiona Howard and Team USA maintain the top spot in both Individual and Team rankings. Sara Morganti (ITA) and Rixt van der Horst (NED) remain second and third. Netherlands and Italy are second and third, respectively, in the Team ranking. Canada is 14th, still led by Roberta Sheffield in 32nd place.
Eventing: Harry Meade is the solid leader
There are no changes in the top five of the FEI Eventing rankings. Harry Meade (GBR) repeats for fourth consecutive month at the to, Rosalind Canter (GBR) is second, followed by New Zealand’s Tim Price in third. USA’s Boyd Martin is fourth ahead of Great Britain’s Tom McEwen, who maintains his fifth place.
Top Canadian is still Jessica Phoenix, now 30th. Interesting to note that Lindsay Traisnel, who won at Bromont with Bacyrouge, has jumped over 100 points up the leaderboard to sit 163rd, just behind Mike Winter (157).
Driving: Kelly Bruder moves up
The top positions in the FEI Driving World Rankings Four-in-Hand, Pairs and Singles remain unchanged. In the Four-in-Hand division, reigning World Champion Boyd Exell (AUS) continues to dominate. In the Singles category, Marion Vignaud (FRA) retains her leadership, but a couple of second-place results with Flip and Backstage CQ in August have elevated Canadian Kelly Bruder from 12th to 5th. Stan van Eijk (NED) remains at the top of the Pairs category.
