Doug Henry was inducted into the Jump Canada Hall of Fame in a special ceremony, presented by BMO Financial Group, held Saturday evening, November 2, at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, ON.

Inducted in the category of Builder (Individual), Henry was recognized for his outstanding achievements in support of the Canadian hunter/jumper industry. Henry became the 45th inductee into the Jump Canada Hall of Fame, created to celebrate the heroes of hunter/jumper sport as well as to inspire current and future competitors. In total, 20 humans, 17 horses and ponies, five organizations, and three teams have been recognized since the Jump Canada Hall of Fame’s inception in 2006.

Henry has been a staple of the Canadian equestrian community for years, devoting himself to hunter/jumper sport not only as a top rider and former member of the Canadian Equestrian Team, but also as a valued sponsor and innovator. Through his popular Henry Equestrian Plan, also known as HEP, Henry has supported the equine community by providing leading insurance products specifically crafted to meet the varied and often complex needs of horse and farm owners. The aim was to help take care of the horse community and, 34 years later, that ideal is still going strong.
