The Canadian Warmblood Board of Directors has decided to waive the under saddle portion of the Stallion Licensing for the 2008 tour.

In the past, the Stallion Licensing required stallions over four year’s of age to show basic rideability under saddle. With the ongoing success of our Stallion Performance Test, where the stallions are evaluated extensively under saddle, the board has voted to run this year’s Stallion Licensing without the under saddle portion. This decision will be reviewed following the tour and presented to the members for input at the National Annual General Meeting, which will be held in Ontario on February 20-22, 2009.

If you would like to present your stallion for either the Stallion Licensing, or the Stallion Performance Test, please contact the Canadian Warmblood National Office at 306-373-6620.
