Canadian Reining Committee (CRC) is pleased to announce the teams that will represent Canada and their provinces at the 2011 Adequan FEI North American Junior & Young Rider Championships. Presented by Gotham North, these Championships will be held July 25–31, 2011 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.
The three Young Rider provincial Canadian Reining Teams and two Junior Rider Individuals were selected based on results achieved during a specified qualification period.

“We are very excited about the Championships this year. For the first time ever Junior Riders are included and we have a strong team,” said Wendy Dyer, of Keswick, ON, who has been named as Chef d’équipe for the for Team Alberta/Manitoba, Team Ontario/Quebec, and the Junior riders. “For Young Riders, we shall miss the team from Alberta but last year’s gold medalist, Nancy Pratch, will be there to defend her title and for the first time a team from Saskatchewan. Darcy Wilson, last year’s silver medalist and gold medalist from 2009 will also be competing on the Ontario/Quebec combined team. The competition will be very exciting and very closely contended.”
In addition to Dyer, Lorraine Gilchrist from Asquith, SK, will be the Chef d’équipe for Team Saskatchewan.
