Ottawa, Ontario—Dressage Canada honours Susan Rothgeb, of Green Valley, ON, as she retires from her Federation Equestre International (FEI) Dressage Judging duties.

Rothgeb will continue to share her vast judging expertise with riders by continuing in her duties as a Senior Equine Canada dressage judge.

With over 15 years as an FEI dressage judge, some of the highlights of Rothgeb’s FEI officiating career include judging at FEI competitions in Germany and Holland, as well as, being a popular judge at the North American Young Riders Championships.

“It was so wonderful to have the opportunity to travel with the sport,” says Rothgeb. “We always had so much fun. It was an amazing experience.”

In addition to judging, Rothgeb is also a current elected director on the Dressage Canada Committee as well as a member of Dressage Canada’s Senior High Performance Committee. Rothgeb is also an active dressage coach, instructing riders from training level to Grand Prix.

With her listing as a retired FEI judge, Rothgeb will stay involved in dressage at the international level by participating on the FEI Appeal Committee for international events.
