The Equi Cup™ Horse Show Series Finale was held at the Royal Canadian Riding Academy (RCRA) September 27th & 28th. Saturday’s feature classes were the $1000 Henry Equestrian Plan Hunter Classic won by Under the Radar and Carolyn Ussher and the $2000 Niagara Insurance Benefits Consultants Hunter Classic won by Carolina III and Megan Cornwell.
Sunday featured the $1000 Kathleen Hamber Mini Prix won by What Ever Man and Nikki Snazel, while Ian Roberts and Faolin won the $5000 Niagara Insurance Benefits Consultants Grand Prix.

The three day long course design clinic was conducted by FEI Course Designer Volker Schmidt from Germany. Held in conjunction with the show, participants received 2 days of classroom training along with the opportunity to use their new skills to assist Mr. Schmidt with the design and building of the Sunday jumper courses. The courses were challenging and gave the riders an opportunity to compete over courses built by a course designer of international renown.

The Equi Cup™ series continues to encourage the development of horses and riders, by providing high caliber competition and venues with a variety of hunter and jumper classes. Only an OEF membership is required and entry fees are affordable with no nomination fees.
