Effective Jan. 1, 2014, the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) will be tracking professional development for all coaches in all sports.
Professional Development will show up in the Locker database on the coach’s transcript.
The National Coaching Committee has worked hard to not only ensure that policies and procedures are updated to align with the policies of the CAC, but that they will be in the best interest of all coaches and instructors involved.
Some of the key changes include a five year cycle to collect points that will commence on Jan. 1, 2014 for all certified coaches and instructors in all contexts, as well as new point standards required for each context.
All coaches will still be required to submit updating hours to their provincial/territorial equestrian federation.

More information pertaining to these changes will be available in the New Year-therefore it is respectfully requested that you refrain from contacting your provincial/territorial associations with questions at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
