Para-Equestrian Canada is now accepting nominations to fill three vacant positions on the Canadian Para-Equestrian Committee (CPEC). The positions on the committee are not specific in task and each position is for a two-year term beginning in February 2012.
The Committee is seeking candidates who possess the passion and drive to work with other committed volunteer board members to oversee the development and implementation of programs for riders with a disability.
Once the Committee has been populated, a chairperson will be elected from amongst the Committee members.
To be eligible to nominate or vote for a CPEC candidate, individuals must be Para-Equestrian Canada members as of November 1st, 2011 and over the age of 18 years old.
Nomination forms are available on the Para-Equestrian Canada website and must be submitted to the Equine Canada office by November 30th, 2011.
