To date, 21 nations have qualified a team/teams for the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games across Jumping, Dressage, Eventing & Para Dressage. France, is automatically qualified in all the disciplines as host nation, alongside Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Sweden who have also successfully qualified teams in all four disciplines.
There are 16 team slots still up for grabs for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, to be allocated at the following events:
Jumping (4/20 team slots remain)
1 team slot: Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final (The highest ranked team according to the final classification of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final 2023, in Barcelona (ESP), 28 September 2023 – 1 October 2023, excluding teams qualified as above.
3 team slots: Pan American Games (The three highest ranked teams from FEI Olympic Groups D and/or E at the 2023 Pan American Games, Santiago (CHI) from 26-29 October 2023, excluding teams qualified as above.)
Eventing (3/16 team slots remain)
1 team slot: FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ Final (For the highest team according to the final classification of the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Series 2023, excluding teams qualified as above.
2 team slots: Pan American Games (The two highest ranked teams from FEI Olympic Groups D and/or E at the 2023 Pan American Games, Santiago (CHI) from 26-29 October 2023, excluding teams qualified as above.
Dressage (3/15 team slots remain)
2 team slots: Pan American Games (The two highest ranked teams from FEI Olympic Groups D and/or E at the 2023 Pan American Games, Santiago (CHI) from 26-29 October 2023, excluding teams qualified as above.
1 team slot: As per Olympic Games 2024 Qualification System, 1 team slot reserved for the highest ranked team from Olympic Group F at the 2022 FEI Dressage World Championships in Herning (DEN) or a 2023 Group F FEI Designated Olympic Qualification Event to be redistributed as per Reallocation of Unused Qualification Places process.
Para Dressage (6/15 team slots remain)
FEI Para Equestrian Regional Team Ranking Allocation: The highest ranked team (not otherwise qualified) on the FEI Paralympic Team Ranking List from each of the following regions will obtain four qualification slots for their NPC:
Africa
Americas
Asia
Oceania
Should a region not have an eligible team, the relevant slots will be allocated, regardless of region, to the next highest ranked NPC (not otherwise qualified) on the FEI Paralympic Team Ranking List.
FEI Para Equestrian Team Ranking List Allocation
The two highest ranked teams on the FEI Paralympic Team Ranking List* (not otherwise qualified) will each obtain four qualification slots for their NPC. *The FEI Paralympic Team Ranking List, covering the period of 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023, is a Team Ranking based on each team’s best team results from two (2) qualifying events added together.
