Canadian Karen Cudmore already qualified with one qualifier remaining at the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair

Tom Foley and Damokles raced to victory on Friday, January 17, placing first in the InIt2WinIt Speed Jumping Series Qualifier at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado.

A capacity crowd enjoyed the annual Gambler’s Choice event. Foley ended the night’s competition, in which every jump had a different point value, with an impressive score of 1,200 points. It was a tight race as Carley Ramsey and Colin came in a close second, just 10 points behind Foley. Third place Kristin Hardin and Burt finished with 1,080 points.

The following riders will join athletes from the four (4) previous events to compete in the $100,000 InIt2WinIt Speed Jumping Series Final in Omaha, April 10:

The packed house also chose their “People’s Choice” award winner as Hannah Rohrbach. The People’s Choice winner will serve as the National Western Stock Show’s Wild Card entry.

These finalists have now qualified for the thrilling $100,000 InIt2WinIt Championship which will be held during the 2020 Burlington Capital International Omaha on Friday, April 10 at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska, home of the highly acclaimed 2017 FEI World Cup™ Finals.

Designed to give riders from the Midwest more opportunities to compete at a higher level while staying in the region, the InIt2WinIt Speed Jumping Series is comprised of six (6) 1.40-meter speed jumping events sanctioned by the United States Equestrian Federation.

The remaining qualifying event in the 2019-2020 InIt2WinIt Speed Jumping Series is April 3 at the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair, in Brandon.

How to Qualify

Riders qualify by placing in the top four (4) at any one of the six Qualifying Events of the Series. If any or all of the top four (4) placed riders of a Qualifying Event have already qualified, the next rider in order will qualify. A rider need not compete in all events to qualify. *Qualified riders may enter up to two horses in the Championship; however, each horse must have competed in one of the six Qualifying Events of the Series. A wild card will also be awarded from each of the qualifying events, along with Wild Cards given by Omaha Equestrian.
