Ottawa, ON—The Canadian Eventing Committee (CEC) is pleased to announce the results of the 2009 elections for Committee members.

As one nomination was received for each of the positions that were open, nominated candidates were elected via acclamation.

The composition of the CEC in 2010 is as follows:

The CEC welcomes new committee member Ian Roberts of Port Perry, ON, as chair of the Coaching Committee. Ian is a former Olympic and National Team member, high performance competitor and Ontario Junior/Young Rider Team coach for many years.  Ian is a NCCP certified Level 3 Eventing Coach, and he brings a wealth of knowledge to the coaching program.

The CEC acknowledges, with thanks, Charles Baudinet, Grit High and Julie Johannson for agreeing to serve another term on the committee.

The CEC expresses sincere gratitude to outgoing committee member Lynne Larsen (Coaching Committee) for her years of voluntary service and commitment to the eventing program.
