January 13, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. EST will be the last day to vote in the 2011 Equine Canada Director-at-Large election. Any member of Equine Canada is eligible to vote online for the Director-at-Large position provided that individual is 18 years-of-age or older in the year of election.
Members must visit the Equine Canada website at http://www.equinecanada.ca/ and login using their Equine Canada username a password to register to vote and immediately complete the voting process. If the member does not have a personalized Equine Canada username and password to login, they will need to contact Equine Canada voting services at [email protected] and login information will be promptly provided.
The successful candidate will be announced to the membership at the Equine Canada Annual General Meeting, January 30, 2011, as part of the 2011 Convention to be held at the Lord Elgin Hotel in Ottawa, ON.

Each year the Equine Canada Nominations Committee has the responsibility of presenting a slate of candidates to the membership for the election of a Director-at-Large. The 13-member Equine Canada Board of Directors consists of three Director-at-Large positions, which are elected by the membership. One Director-at-Large position is elected each year and serves a three-year term.
